Policy on Sexual Harassment Redressal (SHR)  
 
Purpose:
At Venture Infotek , there is zero tolerance to sexual harassment at workplace. Our endeavour is to create a non discriminatory environment with equality of opportunity to all employees so that they can give their best. This policy documents the guidelines for redress of complaints relating to sexual harassment at the workplace in line with Supreme Court rulings on the issue.

Definition:
Sexual Harassment at work place is defined as "unwelcome" sexually determined behaviour (whether directly or by implication) as:

  • Physical contact and advances;
  • Demand or request for sexual favours;
  • Sexually coloured remarks;
  • Showing pornography; and
  • Other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.

Applicability and Scope:
This policy covers all employees of Venture Infotek whether permanent, temporary, full time, part time, contractual or outsourced employees. Any female employee of Venture Infotek, whether permanent, temporary, full time, part time, contractual or outsourced employees, who is a victim of sexual harassment, can complain to the Sexual Harassment Redressal Committee (SHRC) formed under this policy.
