Mr. Dhruv Khaitan - Founder and Chairman
Mr. Dhruv Khaitan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of California , Berkeley .

Mr. Dhruv Khaitan has largely been involved in the creation of high technology businesses, which required pioneering efforts, to bring in new concepts and technologies.His first venture was to create a business in industrial automation for process and manufacturing industries. After inducting equity from Rockwell USA , a Fortune 500 company in the US , Mr. Khaitan divested his stake in a strategic entrepreneurial exit.

Thereafter, Mr. Khaitan founded Venture Infotek along with Mr. Piyush Khaitan, and with investment from leading private equity firms. Mr. Khaitan's main role is to oversee the strategic direction of the company as it embarks on a path of rapid growth in the booming Indian economy.

Mr. Piyush Khaitan - Founder, Vice Chairman and Managing Director
Mr. Piyush Khaitan has considerable experience and knowledge in Consumer Payment Systems, Information Technology, Transaction Automation and Processing. He has interacted closely with Banks in the payment card industry at all levels, international card associations like Visa, MasterCard and American Express.Piyush Khaitan is an Honours graduate in Commerce from the Bombay University , and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad SMEP programme. He has also been actively involved in discussions with The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and The Indian Banks` Association (IBA), the bodies engaged in framing policies with respect to issues relating to the payment card industry.

Mr. Piyush Khaitan is an Honours graduate in Commerce from the Bombay University , and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad SMEP programme.

Mr. Ramanan Raghavendran - Director
Mr. Raghavendran co-founded Kubera in December 2006. Earlier, Mr. Raghavendran was responsible for leading the successful cross-border investing efforts at TH Lee Putnam Ventures (THLPV) as a Senior Partner and continues to oversee the THLPV portfolio today. He was formerly a Senior Partner at Insight Venture Partners where he invested in business process outsourcing and enterprise software companies, including cross–border investing via Connect Capital, an Insight affiliate.

Prior to joining Insight, he was a senior member of the investment team at General Atlantic where he initiated the Internet-related investment effort and also led sector efforts in technology services and enterprise software. Mr. Raghavendran began his career at McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Raghavendran holds a BSc in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania's Moore School of Engineering.

Mr. Kumar Mahadeva - Director
Mr. Kumar Mahadeva co-founded Kubera in December 2006. He was previously founder, Chairman and CEO of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, a leading global outsourcing provider. During his decade long career with Cognizant and prior to his retirement in December 2003, he was instrumental in creating in excess of USD 5 billion in shareholder value and generating total shareholder return in excess of 2,700% (between initial public offering in 1998 and December 2003).

Prior to founding Cognizant, Mr. Mahadeva was Corporate Vice President and Chief Executive for India and China at D&B (formerly Dun & Bradstreet) for five years. Before D&B, he served as Corporate Director for Strategy and Corporate Development at AT&T. Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Mahadeva was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company working in that firm's New York, London and Amsterdam offices

Mr. Mahadeva holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari - Director
Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari is a Principal at Kubera Partners and co-leads the firms investment activities in India. Prior to joining Kubera, Mr. Maheshwari was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company at their Mumbai and Stamford offices. While at McKinsey, he led several strategy and operations engagements across hi-tech, telecommunications and industrial sectors for clients in India, US and Europe. Prior to McKinsey, he was a team leader at Cambridge Technology Partners in their Frankfurt office and led several system implementation projects across Europe.

Mr. Maheshwari received an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

Mr. Phillip Riese
Mr. Phillip Riese is an Operating Partner at Kubera Partners. He is president of Riese & Others, a management advisory firm focused on driving real performance improvement in short time frames for large and mid-size corporations. He spent 18 years at American Express in a variety of leadership positions, retiring in 1998 as President of the Consumer Card Services Group after overseeing the turnaround of the company's flagship businesses. Prior to American Express, Mr. Riese was a Division Executive at Chase and before that a Partner in a South Africa-based management consulting company. He has co-investments in a number of start-up and later-stage companies globally and between 1998 and 2003 served as CEO in two of these companies.

Mr. Riese is an honors graduate in Commerce from Leeds University (United Kingdom) with a joint focus on Economics and Textile Engineering. He received an MBA from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and a Masters Degree in Management from the M.I.T.
